We officially wrapped up the 2022 Snocross Season over the weekend, atop the slopes of Cannonsburg, just outside of Grand Rapids, Michigan. After the pandemic kept the event at bay the past two years, Snocross was finally able to race at this great, new venue. The track at Cannonsburg offered much elevation, a massive downhill triple, technical rhythm sections, right and left hand turns, and a huge uphill start.
 
FXR athletes brought home 53 total medals over the weekend and 12 points championships.

STOCK 200

Gvanni D’Antonio #990 placed 1-2 in his heat races on Friday and went on to take the win in the final. D’Antonio finished off the season 3rd in points in Friday’s Stock 200 class and 4th in Saturday’s class.

Trenton Peterson #28 wrapped up the season with podium finishes two days in a row. Peterson took 3rd in both Friday and Saturday’s Stock 200 finals, and finished 2nd in points for both days’ classes.

120 CHAMP 

Lila Hemmer #005 claimed her first national podium over the weekend, taking an exciting 3rd place in Saturday night’s 120 Champ final. Hemmer took 4th place overall in the points race.

Jaxon Houkom #407 took 2nd in the 120 Champ final, coming off of a heat race win. Houkom finished the season 2nd in points.

Avery Hemmer #415 joined her cousin on the box Saturday night, taking the big win in the final after she also won both of her heat races. Hemmer brought home the title of 120 Champ points champion.

TRANSITION 8-10

Riley Johnson #106 ended his season in the best way possible—back to back final wins between the two days of racing. Johnson also earned 3 heat race wins over the weekend and boasts points champion in the Transition 8-10 class.

Avery Hemmer #415 finished off the season 4th in points.

JR GIRLS 9-13

Victoria Dillon #609 placed 3-2 in her heat races and went on to take 3rd in the final. Dillon finished the season 3rd in points.

Cecily Bernaiche #24 took 2nd in the JR Girls 9-13 final over the weekend, after going 2-1 in her heat races. Bernaiche claimed 2nd place in the points race.

Kendall Rose #1 capped off a successful season over the weekend, winning the JR Girls 9-13 final and taking home the title of points champion.

TRANSITION 9-13

Tanner Johnson #313 earned two 3rd place podium finishes in the Transition 9-13 class over the weekend. Johnson claimed the title of points champion in both Friday and Saturday’s Transition 9-13 class.

 

Dylan Lebel #522 took 2nd place in both Friday and Saturday’s Transition 9-13 finals, as well as earning a handful of heat race wins over the weekend.

 

Brady Freeland #831 topped the podium on both days over the weekend. Freeland claimed 2nd place in the points race for both Friday and Saturday’s Transition 9-13 class.

Trenton Hilmerson #515 took home 3rd in the points race for Friday’s Transition 9-13 class and 4th for Saturday.

Colin Taggart #159 finished off the season 4th in points for Friday’s Transition 9-13 class.

JR 10-13

Kamden Duffy #422 placed 4-5 in his heat races and moved on to take 3rd in the final. Duffy also finished 3rd in points in the JR 10-13 class.

Colin Taggart #159 claimed the 2nd place podium position in Saturday’s JR 10-13 final and finished off the season 5th in points.

Dylan Lebel #522 swept the JR 10-13 class over the weekend, winning both of his heat races as well as the final. Lebel claimed 4th in points to finish off the season.

Brady Freeland #831 took home 2nd in points.

Tanner Johnson #313 boasts points champion in the JR 10-13 class.

JR 14-15

Kaden Helsel #70 placed 2-3 in his heat races and claimed the #3 spot on the box in Saturday’s JR 14-15 final.

Jack Beasley #996 wrapped up the season on a high note, earning two podium finishes over the weekend. Beasley took 3rd in Friday’s JR 14-15 final and 2nd on Saturday. Beasley took 4th in points in Friday’s JR 14-15 class and 3rd for Saturday.

Despite missing the last two races of the season due to injury, Isaac Peterson #612 still claimed 1st in points in Friday’s JR 14-15 class and 2nd for Saturday. 

JR 16-17 

Jack Beasley #996 was back on the box in another class, taking the win in the JR 16-17 final after going 1-1 in his heat races. Beasley finished the season 4th in points.

Nathan Dalli #917 rode consistently over the weekend, going 2-2 in his heat races and taking 2nd in the final.

Connor Campbell #331 placed 2nd overall in the points race. 

Jan Even Romsdal #117 is your JR 16-17 points champion. 

SPORT LITE 

Tanner Johnson #313 claimed two more podium finishes over the weekend, taking 3rd on Friday and 2nd on Saturday.

Brandon Nelson #157 earned himself a successful weekend, scoring two podium finishes between the two days of racing. Nelson placed 2nd on Friday and took the big win in Saturday night’s Sport Lite final.

Cameron Cole #747 finished off the season with double heat race wins on Friday and a 1st place in the final. Cole claimed the title of points champion in the Sport Lite class.

Chance Tietjen #500 finished off the season 2nd in points.

Jan Even Romsdal #117 took 3rd in the points race.

SPORT

Eric Downs #129 earned a handful of nice heat race finishes and two podiums over the weekend. Downs took 3rd in Friday’s Sport final and 2nd on Saturday. Downs finished off the season 2nd in points.

Crayden Dillon #906 won three out of four of his heat races between the two days of racing and went on to take a 2nd and 3rd place podium finish. Dillon took 3rd in the overall points race.

Domenic Hegman #113 finished 4th in overall points.

Kellen Chapuran #254 took 5th in the points race.

PRO AM PLUS 30 

Devin Denman #972 placed 1-6 in his heats on Saturday and went on to take 3rd in the final. Denman is your 2022 season points champion in the Pro Am Plus 30 class.

Tomosuke Sano #106 had a successful day of racing, going 2-1 in his heats and taking 2nd in the final.

Andy Lieders #57 won both of his heat races as well as taking the big win in the Pro Am Plus 30 final. Despite missing a handful of race weekends over the course of the season, Lieders still managed to take 2nd overall in points—only 15 points behind 1st.

 Joe Kohegyi #432 placed 3rd overall in points.

Seth Engel #447 finished off the season 4th in points.

PRO SNOWBIKE

Troy Horbaty #157 finished the season off strong with a 1st place overall podium finish in Friday night’s Snowbike class, and 2nd place on Saturday. Horbaty finished off the season 2nd in overall points.

 

Jesse Kirchmeyer #1 is your 2022 season points champion in the Snowbike class. Kirchmeyer not only finished off the last weekend of racing with double podiums in the Snowbike class, but he also raced on a snowmobile in the Pro Lite class. 

PRO AM WOMEN 

Taven Woodie #873 reeled in double 2nd place podium finishes over the weekend and placed no worse than a 2nd in all four of her heat races. Woodie finished 3rd in overall points.

Malene Cottew #93 scored a perfect weekend to finish off the season, winning all four of her heat races and both finals. Cottew claimed the title of points champion in the Pro Am Women class for the second season in a row.

Makenna Kleiman #199 took 4th in overall points.

Naeli Lebel #518 finished off the season 6th in points.

PRO LITE 

Nick Lorenz #572 won both of his heat races on Friday and went on to take 2nd in the final. Lorenz earned 3rd place in overall points.

 

Ryley Bester #151 went 2-2 in his heats on Saturday and kept the momentum moving into the final where he scored the big win. Bester earned a hard fought and much deserved 4th place in overall points.

Marcus Ogemar #58 reeled in another impressive weekend, claiming a podium finish both nights of racing. Ogemar took the win in Friday night’s Pro Lite final and took 3rd on Saturday. Ogemar finished off the season 2nd in points.

 

Taylor Cole #714 placed 9th in overall points.

PRO

Oskar Norum #40 redeemed himself over the weekend after a heartbreaking crash stole his chance of a podium in Lake Geneva. Norum placed well in his heat races, going 2-1 on Friday. Norum went on to take 2nd in the final and finished off the season 6th in points.

 

Kody Kamm #53 placed 1-2 in his heat races on Saturday and went on to take 3rd in the Pro final. Kamm wrapped up the season 5th in overall points.

 

 

Adam Peterson #3 placed 8th in the overall points race.

Kyle Pallin #324 finished off the season 9th in points.

Elias Ishoel #200 claimed another championship over the weekend and two podium finishes. Ishoel took the win in Friday night’s Pro final and placed 2nd on Saturday.
